From Thursday August 29 to Saturday August 31, it’s Denim Days at Oslo Fashion Outlet, and Saturday we will turn up the heat with full-on denim fever as ELLE hosts an exclusive shopping event!

We had a chat with Nathalie Helgerud from ELLE to learn more about this fall's denim trends, personal styling tips, and the upcoming fall trends for 2024!

Denim Trend For Every Style

"A hot styling tip is to mix denim with materials like wool, silk, or metallic fabrics. And by all means, don’t be afraid of color—think burgundy or bright red this fall," says Nathalie Helgerud.

"This fall's denim universe is much more than just jeans. From denim trousers to denim skirts and Bermuda shorts, there are more opportunities to experiment. One of the season's favorites is the elegant denim dress, which can be styled up or down depending on the occasion. Pair it with cowboy or biker boots for an edgy yet sophisticated look" says Nathalie.

Levi Strauss, together with tailor Jacob Davis, created the first jeans in 1873, originally as workwear for miners. Today, most people think of the number 501 when they hear Levi's. With its straight fit, button fly, and classic design, Levi's 501 has become the very symbol of authentic American style. But, do you know why the model 501 is called 501? In the late 1800s, the company used serial numbers to identify different products, and 501 was simply the batch number for the iconic denim pants. There’s no special meaning behind the number, but it has since become synonymous with one of the world’s most famous and beloved jeans models..

Lee is an iconic American denim brand founded in 1889 by Henry David Lee in Salina, Kansas.
